Filing up the post of English Reporter ( Group "B" Gazetted)
on deputation basis
This Secretariat purpose to prepare a panel of Officers for appointment
to the one vacant post in the grade of English Reporter ( Rs. 9300 -34800;
grade - Pay Rs. 4200) ( Group "B" Gazetted) on deputation basis
2. The period of deputation shall be initially for 3
years with the condition that the period of deputation including period
of deputation in another Ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this
appointment in the same of some other organization/Department of the Central
Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years. The maximum age limit for appointment
by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of
the receipt of the applications.
3. The incumbent to the post of English Reporter on deputation
basis should possess, as on 01.09.2009 conditions of eligibility, qualifications
and experience as specified in the Annexure - I
4. Applications of the eligible willing officers whose services could
be spared immediately. on selection may be forwarded in duplicate in the
prescribed format given in Annexure - II along with complete and Up to
date attested copies of Annual Confidential Reports for the last 5 yrs.
Vigilance Clearance and integrity Certificate in respect of the applicants
through proper channel latest by 11.12.2009. The applicant once selected
will not be allowed to withdraw his candidature subsequently

Annexure - I

4. Educational and other qualification : Essential:
i. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
ii . A pass in Stenography with 150 words per minute in English Shorthand
conducted by a recognized Central/State Govt. Institution
iii. A pass in English Typewriting in the higher grade conducted by by
a recognized Central/State Govt. Institution
Note : qualifications are relaxable at the discretion
fo the UPSC in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
5. Essential Experience : Officers of the Central/state
Govt./Union Territories
i. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department
or
ii With three years service in the grade rendered after
appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.5500 -
9900 ( pre-revised scale) or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department
or
iii. With six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto
on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.5000 - 8000 ( pre-revised scale)
or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department or
iv. With eight years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto
on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.4500 - 7000 ( pre-revised scale)
or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department or
v. With thirteen years service in the grade rendered after appointment
thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.4000 - 6000 ( pre-revised
scale) or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department or
